For my 2023 WAAPA Composition recital, I wrote 6 short works for wind quartet and piano. The pieces explored a range of stylistic influence, and techniques, and in the later half of the year I had the opportunity to work with this ensemble and learn more about the instruments I was writing for.

In November of 2023 these pieces were performed in the Richard Gill Auditorium at WAAPA.
